I've neglected my blog for many reasons. Life has been busy. I didn't really know what I wanted my blog to be about and how much I wanted to share on it. I'm still not really sure, but I decided that I need a place to organize my menus. I don't want to start something new so I will do it here. I don't really want a recipe/meal planning blog, but I also am tired of feeling like I'm reinventing the wheel all the time and I keep having similar conversations with friends who want the same recipes. It is at least something I can write about each week. Perhaps it will spur me on to write out some of the other thoughts that are tumbling around in my head.

I cooked a package of HEB chicken fajita meat. For dinner we had chicken and rice.

Chicken Stir Fry (use the rest of the chicken from Sunday)

Mom's Tortilla Soup
I could have saved some of the fajita meat if I had already made the meal plan, but I wasn't that farsighted. I just used a rotisserie chicken. The girls like chicken legs so I will send those for their lunch on Weds. Dennis decided he wants chicken for lunch as well.
